Thrillers have elements such as mystery, suspense, and unpredictability, and therefore crucial pieces of information are not easily revealed to the audience.
The nature of thrillers requires them to have a story centered on a villainous plot whereby the main character faces challenges from the villains through committing a crime, investigating the villain, Some of the common ways of writing thrillers involve introducing plot twists, cliffhangers, and even misleading the audience by using red herrings.
