Podcast (Preliminary Task)

 For this assignment, we were required to create a 5-minute-long podcast working together in pairs. The choice of genre could be any (sports, comedy, true crime, etc.). This assignment aimed at demonstrating students imagination, creativity, and skills of working with various sound elements such as dialogue, sound effects, background music, theme music, music stings. All elements should be correctly mixed and mastered to make the final podcast sound professionall.

At first, all of these stages have been planned (the topic selection, podcast title, structure of podcast episode including introduction, main content, and ending). The podcasts script with the opening monologue has been written and all music and sound effects elements have been planned to use. Every member of my group performed certain roles, and a plan of podcasting episode was agreed by us.

The next stage consisted in recording and editing podcasting elements using Voice memos to record our voice. In conclusion, we had to submit the final podcast along with its structure and script. The following criteria were assessed for grading: creativity, proper use of sound elements, technical quality, organization, cooperation within the group.
