Inspiration for Main Character
Inspiration for our protagonist was drawn from Dexter Morgan because we wanted to incorporate the same elements of personality, morals, and inner conflict into the creation of our character. Our character is like Dexter Morgan because, although he is not a hero, he has a distorted perspective of what justice is and acts out of personal emotions instead of following the law. In creating such a morally ambiguous character, we thought it would bring interest to our story and create suspense in the audience as they question why he behaves in certain ways.
The connection between our inspiration and narrative is shown through the protagonist as he seeks to uncover the mystery surrounding the death of his daughter, which leads him on a path of revenge.
